These terms apply when you use Grihaz, the household management app at app.grihazhome.com and the website at grihazhome.com. Grihaz is developed and operated by Rhyea, based in Mumbai, India ("we", "us", "our"). By using Grihaz, you agree to these terms.

Who can use Grihaz

You must be at least 18 years old. Grihaz is intended for personal household use.

Your account

You sign in with a one-time code sent to your email address. Keep access to that email account secure, because anyone who can read it can sign in to Grihaz as you. You are responsible for activity in your account and for the members you invite to your home.

Your information

You own the information you put into Grihaz. You give us permission to store and process it only so we can run the service for you. Our privacy policy explains how we handle it.

You are responsible for making sure the information you enter, including details about your staff, is accurate and that you are allowed to record it.

Gmail connection

If you connect Gmail, you authorise Grihaz to read order confirmation emails from the platforms you choose, in read-only mode, so it can add those orders to your expense ledger. You can disconnect at any time from your Profile or from your Google account settings.

Acceptable use

Do not use Grihaz to break the law, to access another household's data, to interfere with the service or its security, or to upload harmful code.

Pay calculations are a guide

Grihaz calculates pay and totals from the information you enter. Check important amounts before paying anyone, and keep your own records where the law requires. Grihaz is not payroll, tax or legal advice.

Price

Grihaz is currently free. If we introduce paid features, we will tell you in advance and you can choose whether to use them.

Availability and changes

We work to keep Grihaz available and accurate, but we cannot promise it will always be uninterrupted or error-free. We may change or improve features over time.

Ending your use

You can stop using Grihaz at any time and ask us to delete your account by emailing [email protected]. We may suspend accounts that break these terms.

Limitation of liability

Grihaz is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, Rhyea is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for losses caused by incorrect information entered into the app, including errors in pay or expense totals.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of Mumbai have jurisdiction over any disputes.

Changes to these terms

If we change these terms, we will update the date at the top of this page and tell you in the app before significant changes take effect.
